My love for running began long ago as a teen girl just trying to find her place in a big new school. I  wasn't very fast but I was accepted and that was what I was seeking.  I ran for just a couple of years before life of being a high schooler took over.  I quit the cross country team and didn't think much about running after that. 

Fast forward twelve years to 2018. It was the 4th of July and I signed up to run the Firecracker 5k in Tulsa that year. During the race I saw a couple pushing an adult in a special chair. I was hoping I could catch them after the race to ask them were they had gotten their chair. I wanted to see about getting one for Livi.  I was able to find those people and they introduced me to a woman named Jana who had brought an incredible organization to Tulsa called Ainsley's Angels of America. That very next month Livi and I ran our first race as an Angel Athlete Rider and an Angel Runner. I'd say the rest is history from there.  

Livi and I have run one marathon together, three half marathons, several 5k's, 10k's, 15k's and training miles. We have ran with so many friends over the years and we hope to keep inspiring you to take life one step at a time.
